Resumo

Antecedentes: O comportamento anti-social refere-se ao conjunto de atos que violam as normas estabelecidas para a coexistência de uma sociedade. Entre as medidas de autorrelato para avaliar esse comportamento está a Escala de Desvio Padrão (EDN). Objetivo: Considerando que no contexto argentino não foram encontrados estudos sobre as propriedades psicométricas da escala, o objetivo deste estudo foi analisar suas propriedades psicométricas em uma amostra de jovens argentinos. Método: Para tanto, foi formada uma amostra de 794 participantes com idades entre 18 e 25 anos. Uma análise fatorial confirmatória foi realizada, o índice de confiabilidade composto foi analisado e a validade convergente, discriminante e concorrente foi estudada (usando uma escala de autocontrole). Além disso, a invariância do modelo de medição foi analisada. Resultados: Dentre os principais resultados, a estrutura fatorial original da escala foi confirmada sem equivalência fatorial entre os grupos avaliados quanto ao sexo, sendo encontradas propriedades psicométricas adequadas para a maioria das dimensões que compõem o instrumento. Discussão: Os resultados, limitações e futuras linhas de pesquisa são discutidas.
