Influência de estratégias cognitivas de regulação emocional no bem-estar subjetivo e psicológico em universitários

Resumo

Antecedentes: Nos últimos anos, tem sido proposto que as estratégias cognitivas para regulação emocional (ECRE) seria preditiva capacidade de indicadores de bem-estar diferentes, já que alguns deles seria eficiente para elevar diretamente a experiência de emoções positivas e diminuir a experiência de emoções negativas . Objetivo: O objetivo desta pesquisa foi analisar a contribuição explicativo do uso de ECRE para níveis de bem-estar subjetivo (BS) e bem-estar psicológico (BP) em estudantes universitários, porque esta população é caracterizada por uma vulnerabilidade particular produto as exigências da vida acadêmica. Método: 84 estudantes universitários da Licenciatura em Psicologia pela Universidade Nacional de Mar del Plata foram avaliadas, com uma idade média de 23 anos. Análises de correlação e regressão linear múltipla foram realizadas para analisar os dados. Resultados: observou-se que o ECRE adaptativo (ECRE-AD) esteve positivamente associado aos dois tipos de bem-estar, enquanto o ECRE não adaptativo (ECRE-NA) o fez na direção oposta. Conclusões: Este estudo mostra a contribuição explicativa do uso diferencial do ECRE com os níveis de bem-estar dos estudantes universitários. Os resultados poderiam ser uma contribuição para o desenho de programas de promoção e prevenção da saúde nessa população, uma vez que sentimentos de bem-estar influenciam as formas de enfrentamento das demandas acadêmicas.
